GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Dear Families,

It is my great pleasure to be writing to you as the new CEO of GLF Schools.

It is clear to me that my new colleagues aspire for every one of your children to thrive.

The trust’s mission to ‘Grow, Learn and Flourish’, along with the Vision, Values and Purpose, are central to my own beliefs and passions and are why I have joined this organisation and have committed to making it outstanding.

I am dedicated to ensuring that the trust is providing the best possible support to every one of our schools, so that each school is able to deliver the best possible educational outcomes for its children. We cannot be successful in our ambition without the help of our parents and families, and I am grateful for your ongoing support.

It is my intention to visit all 42 of our schools in this, my first full term. Context is everything in schools and, as with our children, they all have different needs at different moments in time. It is that context that I want to learn about at each visit, and I will be speaking with headteachers, staff and children to understand the individuality of each school.

I am looking forward to serving all our school communities and shall be looking at ways in which I can fully engage with all our families.
