GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.
Marden Lodge operates a house system. Being part of a house team helps to create community spirit and provides an opportunity to contribute to something bigger, that involves children from all year groups.
Children can earn housepoints for taking part in organised house activities and competitions. Our house system encourages children to collaborate and work towards a common goal. Children wear a T shirt corresponding to their house colour for P.E. lessons.
Each of our schools has its own distinct character and culture which is respectful of its community and context but their utmost common ground is that it is our staff that make each school.
